Tornio-Haaparanta tarjoaa ainutlaatuisia kokemuksia kahden maan rajalla. Täällä voit lähteä revontuliretkelle, kalastamaan, moottorikelkkailemaan tai nauttia kesäisistä melontaretkistä luonnon rauhassa. Kulttuurista ja historiasta kiinnostuneille alueelta löytyy museoita, historiallisia kirkkoja sekä aitoja paikallisia käsitöitä.
Matkakokemus täydentyy alueen monipuolisissa kaupoissa – pienistä putiikeista ja erikoisliikkeistä aina suuriin kauppakeskuksiin, joista löydät niin matkamuistoja kuin pohjoisen makuja kotiin vietäväksi.
Majoittua voit viihtyisissä hotelleissa, mökeissä tai huoneistoissa, ja ravintolat kutsuvat maistelemaan Lapin ja Pohjolan makuelämyksiä. Perheille, aktiivilomailijoille ja ryhmille riittää vaihtoehtoja, jotka tekevät vierailusta ikimuistoisen.

Tornio–Haaparanta näyttäytyy upeana kaikkina vuodenaikoina – kevään valosta kesän yöttömiin öihin, syksyn väriloistoon ja talven tunnelmallisiin maisemiin. A historic moment is getting closer.
For the first time in decades, passenger train travel between Finland and Sweden is returning.
From 10 August, you’ll be able to travel across the border by train between Tornio and Haparanda, making it easier than ever to explore the North.
🎟️ Tickets go on sale on 30 June and passenger train services between Oulu, Tornio and Haparanda begin on 10 August.
We can’t wait to welcome even more visitors to experience everything Tornio-Haparanda has to offer. 🤍
